PVA Participates in Drunk Driving Reenactment at Pittsford Sutherland High School

PVA participated again this year in a cooperative re-enactment of a motor vehicle accident with an impaired driver behind the wheel with MCSO and Pittsford Fire Department at Pittsford Sutherland High School to inform students of the risks of drinking and driving.

PVA Supports the Senior PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club

PVA was proud to provide standby support for the Senior PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club. It was a great week, and included amazing coordination among several specialties, such ALS response golf cart teams with State Troopers and PGA Volunteers. In an effort to bring awareness to EMS professionals everywhere, PVA has been involved in the making of a short documentary highlighting some of the things PVA members do, the services ambulance organizations provide to their communities, and future directions of the EMS profession. PVA Team Receives Award at 2018 Vital Signs Conference

Each year the best Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel are recognized at the annual Vital Signs conference; a conference hosted by the New York State Department of Health, Bureau of EMS. At the recent 2018 Vital Signs conference, five Pittsford Volunteer Ambulance providers were recognized for their response to a reported cardiac arrest on June 21st, 2018.
