Paramedic Rebecca Searchfield - Advanced Life Support Provider of the Year

Rebecca has been nominated by her peers, and was selected to receive the Advanced Life Support Provider of the Year Award. Rebecca is recognized by all as an exceptionally skilled Paramedic. She always demonstrates compassion for her patients, and is empathetic toward their needs. Her partners regularly report Rebecca is passionate about her job; always on the move, and always looking for ways to improve the quality of service provided by PVA.

Rebecca’s dedication stands out. As her partners have observed, Rebecca is always planning and working on many projects. Her regular duties include shift supervision, compliance / quality assurance, and staff scheduling. As a supervisor Rebecca is comfortable confronting the status-quo. She often coaches staff on ways to improve the quality of our service, both in terms of the emotional and clinical care provided, and the way in which we operate to deliver care to our patients.

She is also a passionate advocate for a work environment where quality performance is valued, and where our personnel feel excited and welcome. With this mission in mind, Rebecca regularly challenges policies and procedures which do not support the values or mission of PVA – all to the betterment of each provider on our staff, and our agency as a whole.

As the recipient of this award, Rebecca will also be our nominee for recognition as the Monroe-Livingston Regional Advanced Life Support Provider of the Year.

Congratulations Rebecca! We’re proud to work with you, as you help our agency grow.
